TDS Reforged PVP Mode After the Update
Treat the 15 Aug 2026 PVP Update as a new queue—not a copy of Paradoxum ranked PVP.
On 15 Aug 2026 Vince Games retitled the live place to TDS: Reforged (PVP Update). Universe metadata now shows 585K+ visits, about two thousand favorites, and hundreds of concurrent players at peak. This guide is the practical route into that playlist: confirm the place, learn the lobby label, and rebuild a five-slot board that can survive pressure from another player instead of a scripted PVE wave list.
This is still the unofficial Vince Games fan experience. It is not Paradoxum Tower Defense Simulator. Official TDS also ships a PVP playlist; codes, skins, ELO, and leave penalties from those articles do not apply here. Read Vs Official TDS before you paste a ranked-PVP loadout into Reforged.
Confirm the place before you queue
- Open the verified Roblox URL from the Links Hub (place
123237649250937, universe9899040447). - Check the title card: it should read TDS: Reforged (PVP Update) and credit Vince Games (Official).
- Join the Vince Games group for +$100 starting cash using How to Join the Group.
- Redeem only strings that work inside this place—see Active Codes and How to Redeem. Generic “TDS codes August 2026” tables are almost always Paradoxum.
If the lobby never mentions Vince Games, custom gamemodes, or the Reforged place ID, leave. Lookalike TDS titles are the most expensive first-hour mistake.
What “PVP Update” actually means in-lobby
Vince Games did not publish a line-by-line public changelog. The honest signal is the title change plus the 15 Aug 2026 universe timestamp. In the lobby, look for a playlist, tab, or custom-rules card labeled PVP, Versus, or 1v1. Do not assume official-TDS rules (send-path, ranked arenas, leave timers) until you read the in-game panel.
Write down four facts before ready-up:
- How you win (last base standing, first to leak the opponent, shared-wave race, or custom author rules)
- Whether you share a path or play mirrored maps
- Starting cash and whether the group bonus still applies
- Placement limits and sell refunds
Those four lines belong next to your Loadout Planner save. If a Discord screenshot disagrees with the panel, trust the panel.
Loadout philosophy for PVP
PVE Hardcore rewards a slow bank into one late carry. PVP punishes that curve if the other player spikes earlier. Build for tempo, not for a wave-40 boss you may never see.
A stable five-slot shape:
- Cheap early chip that covers the first bend
- Economy or support that pays for the mid spike
- Mid durable DPS you can sell without crying
- One true carry—Enforcer, Golden Minigunner, or the current patch pick from the PVP Tier List
- Flex for slow, detection, or air—see Slowing Towers and Golden Ace Pilot
Do not lock five late legendaries. Bankruptcy on the first contested spike teaches nothing. Practice the sell windows from Economy & Cash and the binds in Controls so upgrades stay automatic while you watch the opponent’s board.
First session plan
Warm up on a standard map using Getting Started so placement muscle memory is clean. Then open Modes Overview and PVP Update for the snapshot. Queue one PVP match with a boring board. After the match, log: leak wave or lose minute, which slot was late, and whether you copied a Hardcore plan that never came online.
Change one Loadout Planner slot before the next queue. If you play with friends, call roles from the Co-op Guide even in versus—someone still has to own economy.
Maps, customs, and specialty leftovers
PVP does not retire Hardcore, Enraged, Death Invasion, Polluted Core, or Casino. Those remain the PVE ladder: Solo Hardcore, Enraged Mode, Death Invasion, Polluted Core, Casino Mode. Creator maps such as Tortilla Tower still matter for PVE practice.
If the PVP playlist is thin on day one, the Custom Gamemode editor is the honest sandbox: author mirrored rules, test with one friend, then bring the same board into the official PVP tab when it appears.
After the 15 Aug 2026 timestamp
When Live Status moves again, re-open the Codes UI, confirm the group bonus, and play one standard map before another PVP grind. Patch Notes is the retest checklist. Automation that targeted last week’s lobby often breaks first—read Scripts Safety instead of blaming a “nerf.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is this the same PVP as official Tower Defense Simulator?
No. Official TDS PVP is Paradoxum. Reforged PVP is Vince Games. Codes, ranks, and leave penalties do not transfer.
When did the PVP Update go live?
Roblox universe metadata shows 15 Aug 2026, with the place retitled TDS: Reforged (PVP Update).
Do I still need the Vince Games group bonus?
Yes. +$100 starting cash still matters when the other player also claimed it.
Should I copy my Hardcore Enforcer board into PVP?
Use it as a starting point, then add earlier tempo. A late-only carry often loses the first spike.
Where do I find the PVP queue?
In the Vince Games lobby after you confirm the place ID. Look for a PVP, Versus, or 1v1 card—do not guess from official TDS menus.
Are there PVP-specific codes?
Treat every string as unverified until it redeems in Reforged. Do not paste Paradoxum milestone codes.
Can I practice PVP in the custom editor?
Yes. Author mirrored rules with a friend, then retest on the live PVP playlist.
Why is there no YouTube embed on this page?
We only embed verified TDS: Reforged uploads. No honest PVP-titled video was available at publish time.
